Ferries for Castlebay, Lochboisdale, Lochmaddy and Tarbert have been placed on amber alert.
The Sound of Harris route may also be affected.
Timetables are liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice, said Cal Mac.
Ferry services for the Inner Hebrides also face disruption.
