Ferry sailings have resumed from Lochmaddy after the pier was out of action for the past week.

The port’s linkspan was closed to allow essential repairs.

Passengers had to travel via South Uist.

A daily vehicle and passenger service operated on an amended timetable between Uig and Lochboisdale.

The disruption also upset MV Hebrides timetable between Skye and Harris.
