Hebrides News

All sailings for Lochmaddy and Tarbert are cancelled today.

The smaller Hebridean Isles and Isle of Arran are operating the Uig triangle route while the Hebrides is in drydock.

Sailings were cancelled due forecasts of gale force winds and a high swell on the route. Strong gusts also risked a berthing hazard at Uig pier.

The MV Loch Portain has been running on the Sound of Harris, However, squally weather and 40 mph gusts threaten her afternoon sailing.
