Hebrides News

A number of ferry services on the Uig triangle route have been cancelled over the next two days due to the lack of a ship.

Two vessels were due to cover the timetable for Lochmaddy and Tarbert while the MV Hebrides is away for her annual refit.

However, the MV Isle of Arran is not be available until mid-week.

The MV Hebridean Isles is unable to cover the schedule by herself.

A special timetable for the refit period commences on Monday but now requires additional changes to take account of the cancelled sailings.

Amended timings will operate on the routes until Wednesday morning.

The Hebrides will be in drydock in Greenock until the beginning of April.
