Hebrides News

The MV Lord of the Isles has returned to her own route in South Uist.

Sailings to Mallaig were cancelled during her absence.

For the past month, the Loti has been covering the covering the Tiree and Coll service after their own vessel, Hebridean Isles, suffered serious damage in bad weather.

The two vessels were then switched around as Heb Isles was not allowed back to Tiree pending an insurance probe.

Now the Heb Isles has headed north to ply the Skye triangle service and the Loti has been sent to Uist.
