Rough seas and high winds are set to affect island ferries on Tuesday.

The Castlebay - Oban run is cancelled for the day.

The MV Lord of the Isles will remain in port as the South Uist - Mallaig service will not operate.

The Eriskay ferry also faces disruption but decisions on sailings will be made on the localised weather conditions.

The evening Ullapool to Stornoway sailing is on yellow alert due to wind speed and direction while the overnight freight run also faces disruption.
