Strong southerly winds and rough seas threaten to disrupt ferries over the next two days.
On Tuesday, the MV Lord of the Isles’ afternoon sailings between Lochboisdale and Mallaig have been cancelled.
The vessel is to run ahead of the bad weather and undertake an inward run from South Uist and Barra to Oban on Tuesday. Her scheduled Wednesday morning timetable is cancelled.
Meanwhile, the MV Isle of Lewis is on amber alert for Tuesday afternoon and evening.
