Ferry disruptions due to bad weather 19/10/14
Ferry sailings between Barra and Eirskay were cancelled today due to rough seas and westerly winds up to 45mph.
The MV Hebrides is also affected by the gale and is running late on her voyages for Harris and North Uist.
High winds and rough seas will continue as the band of low pressure passes over the Hebrides.
Villages exposed to the south west will feel it breezy on Monday in advance of a storm on Tuesday.
