Rough seas and strong winds are affecting Western Isles ferry services for the fifth day.
A heavy swell running straight down the Minch threatened disruptions.
Livestock sales in Uist were hit by cancellations with the severe weather resulting in no way of transporting cattle trucks on or off the island.
Fleets of cattle trucks were being despatched during a lull earlier today.

However, the ferry’s amended timetable also faced problems with sailings to North Uist and Harris cancelled this evening due to wind speeds and heavy seas.
The ship will depart after 5am on Saturday morning for a busy day in clearing the backlog of stranded passengers and traffic.
It was a very bumpy crossing for passengers onboard the Ullapool to Stornoway ferry with strong northerly winds whipping up very rough seas in the open water.
Iain Don Maciver, Cal Mac port manager for Stornoway, said ferry services up and down the west coast have been seriously disrupted this week.
Today “there is a “significant sea running in the Minch especially in its northern part,” he added.
Forecasts indicate an improvement in the weather with many disrupted passengers planning to complete postponed journeys this weekend.
