Ferry disruption due to bad weather

Today’s Oban - Barra ferry sailing has been cancelled due to high winds.

The vessel will now depart the mainland at 15.40pm on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the MV Isle of Lewis is due to return to the route on Friday.

Adverse weather also means the Sound of Barra is on yellow alert with all afternoon sailings liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice.

The Loti’s Oban - Lochboisdale service is doubtful.
