Ferry disruption

South Uist-bound ferry passengers are stranded in Barra tonight after the MV Hebrides cancelled a sailing to the island due to adverse weather.

The vessel will stay in Castlebay overnight, aborting her leg to Lochboisdale.

It means changes to Friday's outbound timetable.

The vessel will depart Castlebay at 7.40am and call in at Lochboisdale for a quick turnaround for Oban.
