Hebrides News

Strong winds have resulted in cancelled sailings for Tarbert and Lochmaddy ferries today.

Both relief vessels have suspended their timetables until the weather improves, expected to be around late morning.

An amended timetable will operate over the day.

The Hebridean Isles anticipates departing Lochmaddy at 11.30am while the Isle of Arran plans to resume sailings just before noon.

The knock-on impact of cancelled sailings due to bad weather yesterday means the MV Loch Seaforth is running late on her Ullapool schedule today.
