The Castlebay ferry has suspended sailings after creel ropes and buoys caught around her port propeller and rudder.

Divers have been arranged to examine the problem underwater. They are due on scene around noon.

The MV Isle of Lewis is stuck in Castlebay until the ropes are cut away.

Friday morning sailings are suspended.

If the issue is resolved the vessel is set to undertake a late return sailing to Oban, leaving Barra in the afternoon.
