Ferry disruption

The Lochboisdale ferry is out of action due to “technical reasons.”

Sailings on the South Uist - Mallaig route is cancelled as a result with traffic being diverted via the Sound of Harris and Castlebay - Oban.

The Eriskay ferry altered her timings for the Lochboisdale traffic to make her morning sailing. The MV Isle of Lewis held back her departure time for the same reason.

Passengers coming from Mallaig are being transferred to the 2.30pm Skye - Lochmaddy sailing.
