Strong northerly winds may affect sailings of the MV Lord of the Isles on Friday.
Given the advance forecast for the morning the skipper is confident the ship will depart Lochboisdale on time at 7am.
However, forecast indicates winds gusting around 30mph later so the 5.30pm sailing from Mallaig is on yellow alert and may be liable to disruption, delay or cancellation at short notice.
The ferry was disrupted today due to high winds. Departure from the mainland was at lunchtime nearly four hours earlier than usual.
