Hebrides News

High winds over 50mph may lead to disrupted travel problems on Tuesday said Cal Mac.

Both inter-island ferries face disruption across the day.

All sailings for Tarbert and Lochmaddy are upset due to a combination of a lack of a relief ferry and weather conditions. The MV Hebridean Isles is operating the route on Tuesday while the regular vessel, MV Hebrides is in drydock.

All Tarbert sailings are cancelled including the 7am run.

The different timetable operates over the drydock period but this now has amended timings for Lochmaddy on Tuesday. However, the ferry may not sail due to weather.

Monday night’s freight run between Stornoway and Ullapool  may be disrupted. All Tuesday’s runs of the MV Loch Seaforth are liable to disruption.

Ferries for Castlebay or Lochboisdale do not normally operate on Tuesday.
