This afternoon’s return sailings between Lochboisdale and Mallaig have been cancelled due to deteriorating weather conditions.
In addition, the MV Lord of the Isles’s service from Lochboisdale to Castlebay and Oban has been disrupted due to a Force 8 gale forecast for Sunday.
The morning sailing has been cancelled.
Instead, the ship plans to run ahead of the bad weather and has brought her timetable forward.
She will depart Lochboisdale at 5pm, calling in at Castlebay at 6.40pm on passage to Oban.
