The Castlebay ferry will leave port hours earlier than scheduled to run ahead of an incoming gale.
Strong south westerly winds and rough seas are forecast for her Oban route later on Monday.
The vessel will depart the island at 4am to return before the worst of the weather sets in.
A fast turnaround will see her leaving Oban at 9.30am.
