Ferry sailings have been brought forward to run ahead of incoming bad weather on Monday.

Gale force winds are forecast for the afternoon in the southern Minch.

The MV Isle of Lewis will depart Castlebay at 5.30am and intends to leave Oban at 11am to make the crossing before the worse of the weather breaks 05:30 Arrive Oban 10:15

Meanwhile, the MV Lord of the Isles will depart Oban for South Uist at 11.40am - some six hours earlier than timetabled. Her morning inbound sailing is due to operate at the usual time.
