Hebrides News

Bad weather is causing disruption to island ferries on Wednesday.

The Skye triangle sailings are delayed until the skipper assesses the morning forecast and localised sea conditions. The Hebrides plans to operate an amended timetable over the day.

The Castlebay service is cancelled until Thursday.

A high swell risks hampering the Stornoway freight ferry service on Wednesday night.

The Loti hopes to leave Lochboisdale earlier than usual and divert to Oban, weather permitting.
