A “technical problem” prevented the Stornoway ferry from sailing at lunchtime.
The MV Loch Seaforth remained at her berth in Stornoway harbour for two and a half hours.
The ship sailed around 4.40pm. She plans a fast turnaround in Ullapool to arrive back in Stornoway around 10.10pm.
Meanwhile, the Hebridean Isles was running nearly an hour late on the Skye triangle route.
