Low speed ahead due to tides 18/3/14
Today’s South Uist to Mallaig ferry has been running slow due to low tides.
The MV Lord of the Isles reduced speed on passage due to the low sea height at the channel in Lochboisdale harbour.
The ship was about an hour behind schedule as a result.
