Sir,


Regarding the one hour check in time for ferry travel Stornoway to Ullapool - is this the best and or only solution that they can come up with?


As a very regular user of this service we are going backwards not forwards, the time gained on the ferry journey is being lost hanging about at ferry terminals.

Solutions?

Shore Street in Ullapool, make it double yellow on both sides, or make it a one way system, Thomas Telford's layout of the village makes it very easy to accommodate traffic management.


Surely, the powers that be can get their heads together on this and come up with a better solution than an one hour check in time.
