Both of Saturday's sailings between Lochboisdale and Mallaig are cancelled.

The MV Lord of the Isles was pulled off route on Tuesday to head for drydock - her second within weeks.

The vessel is undergoing work to change her propellers in an attempt to improve power and performance.

Her manoeuvring and berthing abilities should be improved when she returns from the Mersey.

The MV Isle of Arran is covering her runs in and out of Oban.

However, the Arran is not being deployed for the Mallaig timetable due to "operational issues."

Cal Mac hopes an improved Lord of the Isles will return from Birkenhead early next week.
