Bad weather and rough seas have affected Western Isles ferry services

The MV Finlaggan cancelled her Tarbert sailings today. Travellers were rerouted onto the MV Loch Seaforth from Stornoway to Ullapool.

An amended timetable operated on the Lochmaddy route.

The inter-island ferries stopped sailings in the afternoon.

There was no Lochboisdale to Mallaig service and the MV Lord of the Isles sailing to Oban instead as she ran ahead of a further band of incoming bad weather.
