There will be no mainland ferry service from South Uist and Barra until Thursday due to a heavy swell and high winds.
The MV Lord of the Isles stayed in Oban and did not sail to the islands yesterday.
Thus, all sailings on the Lochboisdale to Mallaig route are cancelled today.
Neither will tomorrow’s service to Oban operate.
However, sea conditions permitting, a ferry is due to arrive from the mainland on Wednesday night.
