Ferry cancellations 24/3/14
A force nine gale is affecting ferry services for Uist and Barra.
South easterly winds gusting around 50 knots has resulted in the MV Lord of the Isles cancelling her run from Oban to Lochboisdale and Castlebay this afternoon.
Her Tuesday morning schedule to Mallaig has also been put off.
The Sound of Barra sailings are also affected today. The middle runs are cancelled and the later services are liable to disruption.
