All Western Isles ferries were cancelled due to heavy seas today.

Services tomorrow depend on the weather and are liable to disruption.

With the Sound of Harris service cancelled today, the MV Finlaggan made a trip from Tarbert and Lochmaddy at 6pm. Her Uig triangle route did not operate today.

The MV Loch Bhrusda was forced to return to port midway through her voyage between Barra and Eriskay today as seas were too rough. Subsequent sailings were cancelled.

MV Clansman which has yet to reach Lochboisdale and has been stormbound in Castlebay since Saturday is to sail tomorrow. She will depart at 6am with a call-in at South Uist before going on to Oban.

The MV Lord of the Isles is due to make a special outward voyage on Tuesday. Conditions on passage will dictate which port is serviced first.
