Ferries cancelled in rough weather 25/2/14
A heavy swell and southerly winds over 40 knots is affecting many Western Isle ferry
services on Tuesday.
The MV Hebrides is running behind schedule on her triangular route between Skye,
Harris and North Uist. The service is liable to disruption and delays says Cal Mac.
Sailings on the Sound of Barra have been cancelled up until the afternoon at least.
A review will be taken at 3pm for later sailings.
The Sound of Harris service is also liable to disruptions at short notice due to
rough conditions.
All sailings on the Lochboisdale to Mallaig run have been put off due to the adverse
weather.
