Ferries cancelled

Ferries cancelled in gale 8/3/14

Ferries for the Western Isles have been cancelled today (Sat) as a severe gale batters the islands.

All ferries - including those on the two inter-island routes - will stay in port until conditions ease.

This is the second day running with disrupted and cancelled ferry services.

Weather permitting, timetables will resume on Sunday though winds will still be strong in the first part of the day.
