Bad weather and high winds is causing ferry disruptions.

The MV Hebrides arrived in Lochmaddy and will remain there for most of the day. Her sailing to Skye is delayed until 4pm. As a consequence, afternoon sailings between Skye and Harris are cancelled.

The Sound of Barra ferry experienced difficulties in berthing in strong winds at both slipways in the morning. The rest of the day’s timetable has been put off.

Afternoon sailings on the Sound of Harris are cancelled.

There is no ferry service for Lochboisdale.

The MV Isle of Lewis brought her departure time from Castlebay ahead by two hours. However, the vessel will not return from Oban today.
