Ferries cancelled or disrupted due to bad weather 2/10/14
A force eight gale is causing disruption to Western Isles ferry services on Thursday.
The morning sailing from Oban to Barra and return has been cancelled.
The afternoon run to South Uist has also been put off.
The MV Isle of Lewis will return to Stornoway at lunchtime but there is no guarantee she will sail her scheduled return trip to Ullapool.
The overnight Stornoway freight vessel is may be disrupted at short notice.
The Sound of Barra ferry 11am sailing was cancelled.
The Sound of Harris ferry is on amber alert and liable to delay or cancellation at short notice.
