Gale force winds and rough seas are disrupting ferry services.

This afternoon’s sailing from Tarbert to Skye is cancelled. Tomorrow’s run from the mainland to Harris will not operate.

All sailings between Barra and Eriskay are off.

The Castlebay ferry is also cancelled. If weather allows there may be a special service to Oban on Saturday.

The MV Lord of the Isles will not operate on the Lochboisdale run today.

Cal Mac warns all other sailings for Stornoway, Lochmaddy and Tarbert are on yellow alert with a heightened possibility of disruption or cancellation at short notice.
