Fallen War Heroes of Stornoway 3/7/14
A book titled the Fallen War Heroes of Stornoway and District has been published by the Stornoway Historical Society.
A large audience attended the launch at Museum nan Eilean on Friday night.
Sandy Matheson, Honorary President of the Society, spoke favourably of the book which contains vast detail about all those service personnel and civilians from Stornoway and the surrounding district that have been victims of wars back to 1898.
The book can be obtained from the Society or from good book shops at £15 per copy.
