Pupils at Eriskay School raised a number of important issues for MSP Alasdair Allan to follow up after he visited classes.

Alasdair Allan commented: “I really enjoyed visiting Eriskay Primary School, not least because of the school’s very obvious commitment to Gaelic, shown by the fact that my visit was held completely through Gaelic.

“Over and above the usual chance to talk about the work of the Scottish Parliament and an MSP the pupils also came up with a list of practical things they wanted me to do.

“This is exactly how people of all ages should, and do, make use of their MSP and I have now been able to take up a number of issues on their behalf with both the Comhairle and the Scottish Ambulance Service.

“I would like to thank the school for being so welcoming and will keep in touch about the issues they raised with me.”
