EHS Advisor

What you can expect

Reporting to the Technical & EHS Manager, you will provide the site with professional expert advice and hands on support in safety, environment and risk management measures on all activities to ensure the site is compliant with UK EHS law.  You will assume responsibility for the Responsible Care Management System and preparation of site documentation as appropriate.  In addition, you will improve site EHS performance by promoting Responsible Care principles, identifying and fostering best practice and training and educating the workforce and contractors in site documentation standards and in the use of risk assessment tools.  You will conduct inspections and assessments of site operational activities making recommendations for compliance and improvement.

 

What we expect

In addition to a professional occupational EHS accredited qualification, you will have relevant experience in a manufacturing environment or safety role. Beyond this, you will be computer/systems literate and will possess the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
