Ferry operator CalMac has finalised its winter maintenance programme.

 

The schedule may change depending on “operational priorities,” said the shipping operator but currently the arrangements for ships to be in drydock are:

 

MV Loch Seaforth  The vessel is due to leave Birkenhead near Liverpool on 6 November. She is expected to resume normal service around the 8th.

 

MV Isle of Lewis requires much attention this winter so will be in dock between 25 January and 16 February. MV Hebridean Isles is her relief.

 

MV Lord of the Isles is to depart on 3 November. Her overhaul is due to end on 21 November. MV Isle of Arran will cover the South Uist route as well as the Castleby service on an amended timetable. When the Loti covers for the Clansman in January, MV Isle of Arran will operate between Oban - Lochboisdale from 22nd January until 17th February 2020.

 

MV Hebrides’ overhaul is from 9 March until the 23rd. The Clansman will operate the Skye triangle sailings.

 

MV Hebridean Isles is undertaking the Stornoway freight run. She is booked to enter drydock on 6 November for a 17 day overhaul.

 

MV Loch Alainn Loch Bhrusda to stand in from November 25 to December 9.

MV Loch Bhrusda is in for her overhaul from 9 January to the 23rd.

 

MV Clansman Lord of the Isles to take over from 25 January to 16 February. MV Isle of Arran will operate between Oban - Lochboisdale from 22nd January until about 17th February 2020.

 

MV Loch Portain Loch Bhrusda is relief from 3 February until around 17 February.
