An islander who drove a car without a valid licence nor insurance has been disqualified for six months.
Jack Cox of Stoer View, North Tolsta, Lewis, was also fined a total of £400 after being convicted of the two charges at Stornoway Sheriff Court.
In addition, three penalty points were imposed on his licence.
