Driver fined over collision 30/9/14
A driver who lost control of his car and hit a parked vehicle was fined a total of £500 at Stornoway Sheriff Court.
Scott Donald Maciver, 26, of The Attic Flat, 18 Bayhead, Stornoway, originally denied careless driving and a second charge of failing to stop and give his details after the collision.
He changed his plea to guilty part way through a recent trial.
He was fined £300 for the smash and a further £200 for failing to stop.
