Drink driver smashed car 20/1/12
A drink driver has lost her licence for 18 months and been fined at Stornoway Sheriff Court this week.
Marie Murie of 6 Drium na Currag, Callanish, Lewis, was fined £500 and disqualified from driving for 18 months for having an alcohol reading of 145 mg against the legal limit of 80mg.
She also received a £200 fine for careless driving causing her car to leave the road and collide into a metal barrier.
