Drink driver is banned

A drink driver has lost his licence for a year.

Kenneth Angus Mackay of Swordale, Point, Lewis, pleaded guilty to having a breath reading of 40 microgrammes against the legal limit of 22 mcg.

Sheriff Eric Brown fined the 52-year-old £333 for the offence which occurred in Point three weeks ago.
