Drink driver

Gatis Mikolajs of 40C Church Street, Stornoway, lost his licence for 15 months after being caught drink driving.

The 25-year-old pleaded guilty to driving with a breath reading of 81mcg against the then legal maximum of 35mcg.

He was also fined £400 when he appeared at Stornoway Sheriff Court this week.
