Drink driver

An islander has been disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Innes MacCuish also received a £400 fine after he pleaded guilty to drink driving when he appeared at Stornoway Sheriff Court.

The 29-year-old of Leverburgh had 184mg of alcohol in his blood compared to the legal limit of 50mg.

The offence occurred in Stornoway town centre in March.
