An islander has lost his licence for three years after being caught drink driving.
Robert Matheson of Back, Lewis, was also fined £1200 when he appeared in Stornoway
Sheriff Court.
The 25-year-old was over three times the legal limit.
Matheson - who pleaded guilty to the offence - accepted he had an alcohol reading
of 74 mcg against the maximum of 22mcg while driving on Stewart Drive, Stornoway
on Friday.
