An animal lover was so overwhelmed by the number of unwanted pets she cared for that she failed to get treatment for a sick dog.
Stornoway Sheriff Court heard that the dog was unnecessarily suffering from many ulcers.
Suzanne Ennis who formerly lived in Tong Road, Lewis, was admonished.
She was not banned from keeping animals because of her work in taking in neglected and unwanted pets.
