Stornoway Port Authority is looking to recruit a Developments’ Manager to be responsible for the delivery of its major strategic projects.
The port authority is going through a period of change, and a number of major development opportunities have been identified.
The developments manager will be responsible for delivering the port authority’s major projects on time and on budget. The role will involve the management of these projects from initial feasibility study through to determining operational requirements and operational handover.
No specific industry background is requested, however the individual should have experience of general management, budgeting, data analysis, business development, project management and general business skills
The port authority is looking for a motivated individual who will thrive on the challenge in developing opportunities into finalised projects.
A competitive salary will be offered dependent upon experience. This is a senior position within an organisation with high aspirations for the future development of the port and local economy.
