COMHAIRLE NAN EILEAN SIAR
DEVELOPMENT OFFICER, AUTISM (5966), STORNOWAY
20 hours per week, £12,791 per annum, fixed term period for one year
Based within the Council Offices, Stornoway, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Outer Hebrides Community Planning Partnership Autism Action Plan.
You will engage with practitioners across the OHCPP Partnership and work with the OHCPP Autism Strategy Group to develop solutions as identified in the Action Plan to improve services for those with autism, their families and cares.
You will have knowledge of relevant national and local strategies, policies and initiatives in relation to autism, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work effectively with other agencies and good ICT skills.
Educated to Degree level or proven experience in a relevant field working with families affected by autism, experience of successful interagency and partnership working and proven successful Project Management skills.
Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential. You will be prepared to work flexibly across the Western Isles
