The group has been nominated for the category ‘Best Community Support initiative."
The group is made up of volunteers from the local community, Harris House, Leverburgh care home, Western Isles Community care forum and is chaired by Harris Voluntary Service who were successful in obtaining continuation funding for the Musical Memories activities. The group works in close partnership with Alzheimer Scotland Lewis and Harris.
Marion MacInnes from Alzheimer Scotland Lewis and Harris nominated the group for the award.
