Death of Gaelic TV presenter           27/8/12

A young Gaelic TV presenter has died suddenly at her family home in Stornoway.

Diane Morrison was found dead on Sunday evening.

She regularly presented De Tha Dol, the coming events’ slot on BBC Alba.

The 25-year-old was raised in Stornoway and attended Gaelic medium at the town’s primary school. She later went to the Nicolson Institute secondary school.

She was employed as a researcher at BBC Radio nan Gaidheal in Stornoway and also appeared in the station’s various radio programmes.
