Religion is “mumbo jumbo” 14/8/12

Well this has really stirred up the fanciful illusionists hasn't it. The organisers of the event must be very please with the publicity that Professor Dawkin visit has raised. Any debate which Professor Dawkins entered into would be pointless.
On one side you have a science which use experiments to produce factual evidence.
On the other side you have religion (any, it doesn't matter which) no factual evidence, only 'faith,' you must believe because that what we have told you, it's written in this book. It wouldn't be a debate just a tirade from the religious side with no facts, no evidence, just 'faith' again.
It is has become a boring topic now. Move on embrace change, religion belongs in the past along with a lot of things, like black and white television, the model T Ford, witchcraft and blood letting. (Would you want that from a doctor or a scientific developed drug to cure an illness).
Every year science moves humankind forward in knowledge and understanding. This year has been the most exciting since humans landed on the moon for me. The ability of humankind has never been more exciting and wonderful to explore. We have to ability to discover more and more truly amazing things, not listen to 'mubo jumbo' and stories written centuries ago with still no evidence to support it.
It is not a theistic debate it is fact or fiction.
